Inclusion Chilliwack Society (ICS) is proud to announce that it has received a Three-Year CARF Accreditation, valid until May 31, 2029. This highest level of accreditation recognizes organizations that demonstrate substantial conformance to CARF’s internationally recognized standards.
CARF highlighted many strengths across the organization, including our strong values-based culture, experienced leadership, commitment to continuous quality improvement, dedicated staff, meaningful family engagement, and person-centred services that support inclusion, independence, employment, and community participation.
As part of the accreditation process, CARF also identified several opportunities for improvement. These recommendations focus primarily on strengthening documentation, safety procedures, risk management processes, staff orientation, and performance measurement practices. ICS has already incorporated these items into its Quality Improvement Plan and remains committed to ongoing excellence.
Overall, CARF recognized ICS as a highly respected organization that delivers quality services and positive outcomes for the people it supports.
