Our Standards
Because we care about a high standard of service delivery the inclusion and belonging of people with diversabilities the well-being of our staff and employees
Inclusion Chilliwack Society delivers a wide range of services to a community of almost 600 individuals and their families. All services are accredited by CARF International and CARF Canada, and COR-certified by BCMSA through WorkSafe BC’s Certificate of Recognition program.
We are proud of the accreditation and recognition we’ve received over the years, but we also know that change is a constant. New challenges are always arising, so we continue to reassess our processes and standards of service delivery, and seek ways to be ready to adapt in support of our community.
CARF Accreditation
CARF Canada is an independent, non-profit organization that reviews and grants accreditation services nationally and internationally on request of an organization or program. Their standards are rigorous, so those services that meet them are among the best available.
In February 2021, Inclusion Chilliwack welcomed CARF surveyors for our 6th accreditation survey. Achieving this CARF accreditation means that we satisfy each of the CARF Accreditation conditions, demonstrate substantial conformance to the standards, and use continuous quality improvement practices. All three surveyors stated this was one of the very best surveys they had ever completed and were very complimentary about our services. Surveyors were also very complimentary of our Board members and the level of knowledge and commitment to the organization.
