At Inclusion Chilliwack, health and safety are important to everything we do. We are proud to share that we achieved a score of 93% on our 2026 Certificate of Recognition (COR) audit.
A COR audit is an independent review of an organization’s health and safety program. It looks at how well workplace safety systems are working, how risks are managed, how staff are trained, and how safety is monitored and improved.
The audit confirmed that Inclusion Chilliwack has strong health and safety practices in place. It also highlighted the commitment of our employees, supervisors, managers, and Joint Health & Safety Committee members who work together to create safe workplaces every day.
The audit process included:
- Reviewing health and safety policies and procedures
- Conducting interviews with workers, supervisors, managers, and Joint Health & Safety Committee members
- Visiting service locations and work sites
- Assessing safety records, training, incident investigations, and ongoing improvement efforts
While the audit recognized many strengths, it also identified opportunities to improve. We value this feedback and will use it to strengthen our health and safety program even further. Continuous improvement is an important part of maintaining safe and healthy workplaces.
