What We Stand For
We hold the following values and vision at the core of our operations and are dedicated to achieving our mission.
More About Our Values
Accountability:
We believe that accountability is essential.
Accountability and transparency are essential to quality services within any human service field. Inclusion Chilliwack Society understands that we are ultimately responsible to all individuals in support, their families and other stakeholders for all our decisions and actions.
Courage:
We believe respectful relationships form the foundation for person-centered supports.
It means we do not let fear hold us back from exploring new opportunities, developing our skills, and doing what is right. All people are created equal in rights, dignity, and the potential to achieve great things. True courage involves us to make good choices in the face of fear or obstacles.
Integrity:
We believe integrity means to be honest and have strong moral principles.
True integrity indicates doing the right thing for the benefits of society, not for yourself. It means to be honest and to possess high moral principles.
Learning:
We believe that learning is lifelong.
Inclusion Chilliwack Society believes lifelong learning is the ongoing, voluntary, and self-motivated pursuit of knowledge for either personal or professional reasons. Although sometimes learning requires support, ultimately, it enhances not only social inclusion, active citizenship and personal development, but competitiveness and employability.
Respect:
We believe respectful relationships form the foundation for person-centered supports.
Our highly committed and dedicated team of community support professionals offer people a caring and individual service, designed to meet their personal and unique needs. This person-centered approach is the foundation of our service and ensures a strong, caring and shared respectful relationship with the people we support.
