Inclusion Chilliwack Society (ICS) is proud to announce that it has been recognized as a 2025 Canadian Nonprofit Employer of Choice (NEOC), achieving an overall score of 81%, exceeding both the program’s qualification threshold and the national nonprofit benchmark.

The Canadian Nonprofit Employer of Choice Award is a national workplace recognition that highlights nonprofit organizations committed to strong leadership, positive workplace culture, and people‑centred practices. The award is based on a comprehensive assessment process that includes leadership review, organizational practices, and an anonymous employee commitment survey.

As part of the 2025 assessment, 203 employees participated, sharing valuable feedback about their workplace experience. Results highlighted strengths in management and employee relations, organizational reputation, and pride in the organization’s mission and community impact. The assessment also identified opportunities for continued improvement, which will help guide Inclusion Chilliwack’s ongoing commitment to continuous quality improvement.

“This recognition reflects the dedication, professionalism, and commitment of our staff,” said ICS Human Resources Director, Natalie Karam. “We are grateful to our employees for sharing their voices and helping shape a workplace where people feel respected, supported, and engaged.”
