CSCL Welcomes NHL Legends to Chilliwack for Three Unforgettable Years:
For three incredible years, the Chilliwack Society for Community Living (CSCL) had the distinct honour of hosting the NHL Alumni Series, a thrilling event that brought hockey legends from some of the most iconic teams in the league to our community. Fans were treated to unforgettable matchups featuring alumni players from the Montreal Canadiens, Boston Bruins, and Toronto Maple Leafs—teams rich in history and talent.
These celebrated athletes, many of whom helped shape the legacy of the NHL, laced up their skates once again—not for championship glory, but to support a great cause and connect with fans in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.
Facing off against these seasoned pros was a spirited group of local players known as the CSCL Chilly Wackers. This team of community hopefuls brought heart, hustle, and hometown pride to the ice, creating a unique and entertaining experience for spectators of all ages. The games were more than just sport—they were a celebration of inclusion, community, and the joy of coming together.
