When an important opportunity seemed out of reach, staff from across multiple Inclusion Chilliwack services came together to help make it happen.

This feature tells the story of Marie, who was supported to attend the annual Harambee Summer Camp for the first time in ten years. With just one week to prepare, staff, managers, volunteers, and community partners worked together to secure approvals, transportation, and camping equipment, ensuring Marie could take part in an experience that is deeply meaningful to her.

The story is a powerful example of teamwork, creativity, and community in action, demonstrating how collaboration can help people pursue opportunities that matter to them. As the article highlights, great things happen when people come together with a shared goal and a commitment to making inclusion possible.
